NEWGEN Motorsport and Brad Hayes Racing Announce Strategic Partnership to Bridge Karting and Kenyon Midgets
Indianapolis, IN – 2/6/2025 – NEWGEN Motorsport (NGM) and Brad Hayes Racing (BHR) are excited to announce a new partnership aimed at creating a clear path for young drivers to progress from karting into the United States Speed Association Kenyon Midget Series. This collaboration will provide NGM drivers with new opportunities to expand their racing careers while strengthening both organizations' presence in grassroots motorsports.
Through this partnership, NEWGEN Motorsport will be named the official karting partner of Brad Hayes Racing. In return, BHR will promote NEWGEN as a premier karting program for young drivers looking to sharpen their skills before moving up to cars. Additionally, a dedicated BHR Kenyon Midget will feature NGM branding throughout the 2025 season, further solidifying the connection between the two programs.
A key component of this initiative is the inclusion of Elite Performance and the Elite Performance Racing Academy, which will provide drivers with professional-level physical training, mental preparation, and race-focused conditioning. By integrating Elite Performance’s cutting-edge training programs into the partnership, drivers will have access to a complete development system that enhances both their on-track performance and overall fitness.
“This is a natural fit for both organizations,” said Brad Hayes, Owner of Brad Hayes Racing. “Karting is the foundation of driver development, and partnering with NEWGEN Motorsport allows us to work with young racers who have the talent and dedication to take the next step into open-wheel racing. The addition of Elite Performance ensures that drivers are not only technically prepared but also physically and mentally ready for the transition.”
As part of the agreement, BHR will allocate one Kenyon Midget for an end-of-season test for an NGM driver, providing a critical opportunity for kart racers to gain experience in a higher-level race car. BHR will also display a Kenyon Midget at Whiteland Raceway Park’s opening day on March 22 to showcase the connection between karting and the next level of motorsports.
