Your muscle reflex fights back when you hold too long.
Instead, try Active Isolated Stretching.
Hereâs how it works:
1ď¸âŁ Move into the stretch gently.
Go to the point of tension, not pain.
2ď¸âŁ Hold for only 2 seconds.
This prevents the muscle from triggering its protective reflex.

Do 10 controlled repetitions instead of one long hold.
