Through eLOVEate, I work very specifically with high-achieving, middle-aged women who are struggling through the self-doubt that often comes with transition—aging, empty nesting, career changes, divorce, and more—because I know exactly what that feels like.
I'm in my own transition right now; I've recently realized I've lost my identity.
I used to be that super fit, adventurous chick. I could run 5 miles with no training, complete a Spartan on a whim, go backpacking for days, or hop in my car and move across the country knowing no one—just chasing adventure. I lived in Alaska and North Carolina as an outdoor guide. I was in the gym daily, meal prepping, lifting heavy, training clients…that identity was deeply ingrained in me.
But I’m not that girl anymore.
My body can’t handle the same level of intensity, and after almost 15 years in Arizona, my life has roots now. I can’t just disappear into the next adventure anymore. So I found myself asking: Who am I now? And what do I want that fits with this body and this lifestyle?
Honestly? I don’t know. I'm still in the process of figuring it out.
But, after some serious soul-searching, I realized I miss fun. I miss doing things for no other reason that to simply have fun - no objective, no goal, NO WORK! And that's when I realized, I missed dancing. I missed music, sensuality, movement, freedom, and creativity. So, I researched and found DivaDance—adult dance classes for women, focused on confidence and community—and I’ve loved it! Hip-hop, Latin, R&B…sneakers and stilettos 😆
Was I nervous walking in? Hell yes. But the women were so welcoming that I relaxed quickly and just enjoyed myself.
I still don’t fully know who this next version of me is. But I’m giving myself permission to enjoy the process of finding out. Besides dancing, I've also learned I love being a plant-mom, and a vegan/gluten free baker.
Next up: a paint-and-sip so I can see if I have an artistic side 😃

Think about that one area of your life where your confidence seriously lacks. Is it with intimacy and romance? Is it your with body? Is it your business or career? Is it your parenting? Where does self-doubt continuously creep in and steal your confidence?
Well, there are two feelings you must have to feel confident: feelings of worthiness and ability.
Worthiness: You believe you deserve anything and everything good. You believe in your deservedness to feel unconditionally loved and accepted, to be successful, to be wanted, to be respected, etc.
Ability: You know you are capable of doing that "thing" well. You know you are an amazing partner or a fantastic mother; you know you have the knowledge and ability to be successful, etc.
It's important to know where your gap is because you can't strengthen your confidence until you understand what's undermining it.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! So many people think this is in celebration of Mexico's Independence Day...it isn't! It's to commemorate the day a small, poorly equipped Mexican militia defeated a much larger, well-equipped French army in Puebla Mexico.
Think of the amount of confidence that was built that day in that little, but victorious militia! You know they were scared, but they fought anyway. And they won - their bravery was rewarded.
Your bravery will be rewarded too, if you are willing to step outside your confort zone to build greater self-confidence. Becaues that's what it takes - a little discomfort. But LITTLE discomfort can bring you ENORMOUS results!
Join me May 27th, where I will teach you how to be as victorious against that big, bad voice in your head, as that little Mexican militia was against the French. 😁
It's only $49 and if you don't think the time was worth the money, I'll fully refund you. Unlike that brave but little Mexican army, you've got nothing to lose.

You know one of the things that actually makes us the most confident? Rest!
It's Sunday...take a break and let yourself rest. So many of us suffer from the compulsion to do, do, and do some more. This simply leaves us feeling anxious and exhausted, which is the opposite of confident.
So, today, I encourage you to intentionally rest. Whether that means sleeping in, or exercising more gently (or God forbit not exercising at all!), taking a nap, reading a book...whatever! Enjoy some rest without guilt, knowing you are building your confidence by doing so.

If you didn't read my newsletter or hear my segment on the radion show, then you missed my life-changing question...
There are two primary culprits that steal your self-confidence:
Self-doubt (internal)
Fear of judgment (external)
If you pay attention to your reactions, you’ll see it. When do you feel the most insecure or shaky? It’s usually one of these two voices:
“I’m not good enough.”
“What will they think of me?”
And those voices can be LOUD. But here’s the shift I want you to try the next time they show up: So what?
What if I fail? So what?
What if I suck at it? So what?
What if I embarrass myself? So what?
What if someone judges me? So what?
Seriously…so what?
We give so much power to these thoughts, but when you actually slow down and question them, the consequences usually aren’t nearly as catastrophic as your mind makes them out to be.
You’re not going to lose everything.
People aren’t going to abandon you.
Your life isn’t going to fall apart.
Most of the time, the worst thing that happens is a little discomfort…maybe a little embarrassment…maybe a lesson. And that’s it.
But instead, we let the fear of those things stop us completely.
So the next time self-doubt or fear of judgment shows up, don’t argue with it. Don’t try to silence it.
Just ask: So what?
Then decide if that imagined outcome is really worth holding you back. Because most of the time…it’s not.

Does a demoralizing little as***le live in your head, triggering self-doubt?
Do you want to squash that little as***le like a bug and kick self-doubt in the teeth?
Is this actually a desire you've had for a while but haven't yet figured out how to do it?
Then, come join me on May 27th for an introductory workshop where you'll:
- Realize how different your life would look if you lived with 10/10 confidence.
- Figure out why that as***le took up residence in your head to begin with.
- Learn the framework for shutting that as***le down
- Walk away with a blueprint for replacing self-doubt with self-confidence
If you've ever participated in one of my workshops, then you know it will be fun, fast-paced, interactive, self-reflective, and trasformative. This workshop is only $49 and if you don't think you got your money's worth, I'll give you your money back.

As I sit in contemplation these few days before the conference, I’m filled with so much gratitude and clarity of purpose.
This speech isn’t about ego—“look at me and tell me how great I am.” It’s about inspiring action. I’m above no one. I’m on this journey called life just like everyone else. But some of us have the gift of gab and can use our experiences to help and inspire others. That’s what I’ve been called to do, and I’m so grateful I have both the courage and the opportunity to do so through the Empower and Elevate conference.
I speak about self-love and confidence because that’s what my journey has been about. I’ve struggled with self-doubt, depression, unhealthy relationships, poor body image, and more. That’s what makes me effective in this work—I understand it. I’ve been there, and I don’t judge it. We all struggle with something. This just happened to be mine.
I believe we struggle to become stronger and wiser—not just for ourselves, but for others. How can we use our struggles to help those who are walking a similar path? How can we uplift the people around us?
The more we share our love and light, the more we’ll see it reflected back in the world. So it makes no sense for me to keep my struggles—or my successes—to myself. They can help others if I’m willing to share them. That’s the plan for this Friday.
I am a completely different person than I was 30 years ago, and I’m so grateful for that. My ability to quiet that voice in my head and act with courage despite doubt is something I now rely on, not wish for. My sense of worthiness has grown in ways I couldn’t have imagined, and it continues to deepen with consistent practice.
Now, I have the confidence to share my story to help others—and I’m incredibly grateful for the platform to do so.
Thank you, , for this opportunity. I’m excited to inspire the E&E women to take courageous action toward building the unshakable confidence they deserve.
