2025 NCBA National Tournament Recap

The U.S. Naval Academy Boxing Team is proud to announce that we are the 2025 NCBA Men’s National Champions!

It was an unforgettable week of competition with both our men’s and women’s teams delivering outstanding performances on the national stage. Navy had nine boxers compete in the Finals and brought home six individual national titles—five from the men’s team and one from the women’s team.

Two of our boxers, Erin Nicastro and Steve Brunache, earned their second career national titles; a testament to their consistency, toughness, and relentless work ethic.

Capping off the tournament with two of our boxers, Kenzie Moore and Liam McCarthy, earning the tournament’s highest individual honor: the Most Outstanding Boxer Award.
Kenzie humbly presented the award to her opponent, Lia Stokes (Army), for Lia’s performance in the Finals.

We’re proud of every Midshipman who stepped into the ring and represented the Academy with honor, discipline, and grit. Thank you to our coaches, supporters, and the Naval Academy community for helping make this championship possible.

Go Navy. Beat Everyone.
