Cleaning out the shop, these are like our standard 14” bucklers, but in hardened 6061 T6. These were shaped and then heat treated, and we never got around to setting them up with handles and forgot to take them to our last Pennsic.

I have 7 of them, without handles they will be $150 each plus shipping costs. When these are gone there will be no more. Message me here or send an email to [email protected]

Teaching day at the shop, my apprentice Ivan came up to pick up some tips. There is a bascinet on its way, a cool forward peak is coming together and I finally got a chance to try out the new tweaked cut face plate design. Got it into a helmet that never got finished for our last Pennsic.

This helmet is all 14 gauge stainless steel with a12 ga stainless face plate. Sized to fit a23” head. It will be priced at $765 if it makes it to the web site.

If it suits someone’s fancy it is ready to ship.

So weird not having the panic that building up for Pennsic always brought on. It’s hot here, and I’m keeping busy but not in the usual rush. Finished a helmet for a good friend and a wonderful client, whittling down the last few jobs I have outstanding. Robert Cheripka, you have mail on its way.

After a year of barely being in the armor shop, I’m having a bit of fun creating again. Schiavonnas and cup hilts are on the block next, I had a few requests and parts to fill them. To all my friends who I will be missing seeing this year at the big show, lift a glass for me!
