- The Cora building project has began! The $30 million dollar project, will feature a new restaurant, a rooftop bar, market-rate housing and MORE parking downtown .. can I get an AMEN??
- The Burger King building has a new look, coffee and donuts now replace the home of the Whopper .. welcome Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin Robbins to the hood ☕️🍩
- Chulas Mexican Restaurant & Bar is set to open on May 22nd at the site of the old T-Shirts & More building .. what an awesome addition to the downtown landscape 🌮🌯
- Lightbridge Academy (daycare) has broke ground on the north side of town 🍼
- Flame & Flora and Aurora Cannabis are now open and fun fact PL can have THREE total retail store fronts 💨

RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT 🏡🛌 🔨🛋️
- The Vierling Farm (on the corner of County Rd. 42 & Eagle Creek) which has been owned by the same family since before the Civil War is officially under contract! A proposed 260 home development is under way with Pulte Homes and will feature attached row homes, attached townhomes, detached villas, single family detached homes.
- The Campbell Shores Neighborhood (just west of Sailors Greenhouse) is slated for 62 lots of single family homes.
- The Pieper Family Neighborhood, 200 lots just west of Campbell Shores.
- The Stone Path Neighborhood (just south of County Rd. 42 & east of Holiday) will have 11 single family lots available.
- Aspen Ridge Neighborhood (just south of Friendship Church off Hwy. 13), 46 lots available on 40 acres.
- The (soon to be former) Prior Lake School District Office in the early plans of a 170 unit, market rate apartment complex 📚🚌📝
- The McKenna Crossing Expansion will feature more 72 units, 55+ senior living.
- Hopes Portage (near SOLLC & the old YMCA building) transitional housing opened back in January with 14 available units 🙏
- Did you know the City of Prior Lake annexed 2,700 acres of land from Spring Lake Township (think the area west of County Rd. 17 and north of Hwy. 282 & 13)? The AUAR (Alternative Urban Areawide Review) is underway with development scenarios being reviewed.. more to come 💃🙌
- The Northwood Rd. project, plan to find an alternative route around that area (if possible) as the much needed updates and improvements will take time but will be well worth it 🚧⚠️

POLICE & FIRE DEPARTMENTS 🚔🚒
- The Police Dept, unmanned drones and flock cameras to capture vehicle license plates tied to criminal activity 👮‍♀️🚨👮
- The Fire Dept, call volume went from 282 in 2024 to 2,289 in 2025! They are operating on a full-time staff model with a newly hired Fire Marshall. A study is currently underway for Fire Station #2 capacity🧑‍🚒🧯
- E Rides (bikes & scooters) are getting much needed enforcement starting this summer. Parents be ready for a call if your child is illegally operating one within the city limits 🛴🏍️

- The Ponds Park improvements have been completed, play ball!
- The PLAY Miracle Field has been completed with the playground up next ♥️

For almost nearly a decade Kyle and I have been serving the Twin Cities metro area at Engel & Völkers real estate. Kyle’s journey began in 2017 when she came on as my right hand gal and became a licensed REALTOR all in the same year. By 2020 she took off!
