It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we say good-bye to our dear Brenda Corbin Perry. An integral part of our studio since we opened over a decade ago, Brenda was always front and center…warm, kind, sincere, positive.
Not only was her presence a foundation in our dance fitness classes but her ballroom dance dedication and talent were boundless. She was a star performer in every studio Showcase we presented as well as a dedicated student and award-winning competitor with her teacher David Flory. Her thirst for knowledge and her pursuit of excellence remained a constant throughout her life.
We remember Brenda for her sweetness, ready smile, calm demeanor, and intense dedication to the art of dance. In 2019, she became a certified trainer in GYROKINESIS®, an exercise modality that spoke to her the moment she was introduced to it, and which became significant in supporting her dance goals and her desire to share her knowledge with others.
Personally, Brenda has been one of my dearest friends for more than four decades, my trusted and skilled veterinarian to our many fur children for much of that time, and a part of my classes and my life since 1982. For many years, we danced and performed together with Dance Bochette and Gulf Coast Dance in performances too numerous to list. She was a lovely ballerina and a brilliant tapper. We made cherished memories in the studio and on stage. Her loss is immeasurable.
The loss of Brenda's quiet and steady presence in our lives will be felt deeply, but her love for life, dance, and adventure will forever inspire us.
We love you always, Tinkerbell.
