here’s my general formula for leg days as someone always tryna either grow big legs or maintain big legs 😸 the numbers are how many of that type of exercise I typically do.
This is specific to a goal of bodybuilding, not powerlifting or strength specific gains. You will obviously gain strength overall but the goal for the structure is aesthetics. That means quality of contraction and stimulus to the muscle is always first priority.

Don’t take failure or embarrassment personally and embrace the process, pursue your dream with passion & control the controllables. ᕦ(ᴗ ͜ʖ ᴗ)ᕤ it’s easy to forget how far we’ve come. Here are some staple exercises I’ve used to grow my posterior chain! (Glutes / Hams) 💖
Essential above all is FORM and quality of rep! Don’t ego lift if you’re trying to bodybuild! The most stimulus to the muscle possible is best.
- hip thrust
- hamstring curl
- glute bridges (I prefer with barbell but had to improvise)
- glute hyperextensions
- kickbacks
