Last week was busy with racing and the last week before school started!

There was a race on Tuesday and Thursday because of a rain makeup, as well as Saturday, which ended up being canceled for rain.

On Tuesday, Ava worked her way up to finish in 🥉.
Thursday night was a learning experience for her about driving strategy, and in the end she finished 4th.

Ella has gotten more confidence every week, and continues to get consistently better lap times!

We have a race today at noon at Road America, hopefully we have better weather for this race weekend!

We had a great weekend at Quaker City Motorsports Park racing the Apex Karting series.

This was the first time that Ava has raced her 2 stroke in a regional race, which was a great opportunity for her and her crew to learn.

In true Ava fashion, she enjoyed running one of her heat races on a wet track after a rain delay on Saturday afternoon, and she did great!

She ended the weekend with a double podium, placing third in both her Briggs micro and her IAME micro classes.

This week Tuesday Ava was on a mission from the start! She ended up finishing 🥇in the cadet feature with some great driving!

Ella learned how to recover after a few minor spin outs and finished 11th out of 13. She is gaining confidence and strength by the week!

The girls were thrilled to be able to get to a Tuesday night race this week and they showed up!

Ava started in the back of the field during the heat races since she didn't do qualifying, and made it all the way up to finishing 3rd in Cadet. She made a total of 17 passes during the night!

Ella finished 9th, but had her fastest lap time of the season of 47 seconds, which is great progress since she is only 5 years old.

Both girls had a day full of 5's on the June 27th night race.
Ella had a her fastest lap time yet hitting 51 seconds! She ended up finishing 5th in her kid kart class and continues to improve each week.
Ava battled all day in the 206 Sportsman class, moving up two spots in the final laps of the feature, which put her at 5th in a tough class.
She also finished 5th in the Mini Swift class to end the evening.

We are looking forward to the next race on Saturday, July 11th.

Ava had a great time at the Cup Karts North Race at Road America last weekend. It was a competitive cadet class and she drove hard all weekend, improving her times each session. She finished 3rd on Saturday and 4th on Sunday.

The girls had a great first week of points racing at the Road America Weekend Series. Ava officially started her fourth season. This year she is running in the Sportsman and Mini Swift classes. Ella had her first race as a Kid Karter.

Ava had a great day with two 5th place finishes and Ella finished 8th.
