United to Prevent 5K, September 12 | Valdosta GA

Another race in the books. I ran the United to Prevent 5K on September 12, a community event focused on awareness, prevention, and bringing people together for a meaningful cause.

Race Notes:

Lazy Runner Recommendation
The Salomon S/LAB Genesis 2 is now live and it’s a strong update for real trail miles. Dual‑density midsole with a springy TPU forefoot, EVA through the rest, a smoother 6mm offset, and a wider platform for 23 percent more ground contact. No plate, based on Salomon’s research showing carbon doesn’t help on flat trail and costs energy on climbs.

You get a new 4.5mm ContaGRIP outsole and a tougher Matryx Micro upper.
