Did you know yesterday was National Running Day?
Love Is... is hosting a Virtual Run Fundraiser from June 21 to July 25. Registration is $35 per person and includes a badge number, a Love Is... rubber wristband, and a participatory medal. Medals will be mailed out after July 25. This fundraiser will allow us to continue with our programs, Santa Loves Seniors and Once Upon a Prom along with any other future programs/events.
This run will take a symbolic race from Vallejo to Benicia, 20 miles, but it does not mean you have to actually run from Vallejo to Benicia, or even run the full 20 miles. Not a runner? You can do all sorts of activities! Walking, cycling, swimming, elliptical, and others are also included. All you need to do is enter in the miles you’ve exercised manually or add your fit watch to the mission. Look out for certain weekends that Love Is.. team members will participate in this fundraiser with live walks around Vallejo and Benicia
