Happy Mother’s Day! We hosted an amazing event yesterday that brought out women from across the region and we wanted to thank the organizers for putting together such a great event.

And we’re back (most likely for the rest of May). Come on by, get yourself a good deal, and try your best to get information about what’s next out of Joshua. Buena suerte!

Because of utility reasons out of our control the shop will be closed this week. (April 29-May 3) We will try to open back up on May 6, and will keep y’all updated. We will continue to have lots of great going out of business sales when we come back. As a reminder the trails being open or closed is separate from our shop and trail status can be checked at the Creekside Trails page. Happy Earth Day from Trailyard Outpost. Here’s Joshua with children’s book author Byrd Baylor at her off the grid southern Arizona house. ‘The Desert is Theirs’ is probably Joshua’s favorite book of hers.

I started working in bike shops as a job before going off to college. That was 26 years ago. Nothing could’ve prepared me for what we would be able to do with this shop. When you put the customer and community first, it really can change things. So of course it’s a little funny to me to be winning the Gold Medal Retailer Excellence Award in our final weeks of being open. But at least we’re ending things on a high note. I want to thank everybody that voted for us and wrote nice things about us. And of course, I want to thank the great staff I’ve had over the years.
