Huge shoutout to this wonderful woman right here!
We’ve gone through so much together and she continues to love me more and more each day.
I believe no matter where you’re at in life or where you’re going you need a decent support system to get there.
I think it’s especially true for fitness goals.
Whether it's a significant other, family member, or friend, having someone to cheer you on and hold you accountable can make all the difference.
They can help Motivate-
Push you harder towards your goals and encourage you.
They can hold you accountable-
Help keep you on track and keep you from giving in to being lazy.
They can also help celebrate the wins-
When you reach milestones you can have someone else to celebrate with!
So, if you're embarking on a fitness journey,
Consider enlisting the help of a supportive loved one.
Whether it's working out together, meal prepping, or just providing emotional support, having someone in your corner can make all the difference.
Remember, you don't have to do it alone.
And if you don’t have anyone, or you think you need a few more of these “Fit Friends,” Join my Facebook group with the link in my bio.

Let's talk about consistency.
We've all been there - feeling discouraged, tired, and like giving up on our fitness journey.
But here's the thing: consistency is key to long term results.
Take my breakfast for example, picture after picture of the same thing.
It's not about being perfect or never having setbacks,
It's about showing up and putting in the work,
Even on the tough days.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when you're feeling like throwing in the towel:
1 Remember your 'why':
Why did you start your fitness journey in the first place? What are your goals and aspirations? Keep that motivation at the forefront of your mind to help push you through those tough moments.
2 Choose your hard
Fitness is hard. Absolutely. Eating right, drinking water, working out, investing money to a gym membership and your health. But its also hard being overweight, unhealthy, and collecting co-morbidities till you die.
3 Keep it simple:
Sometimes, we can get bogged down in the details and lose sight of the bigger picture. Keep your workouts and nutrition simple and manageable, so that you can stay consistent and focused on your goals.
Remember, progress takes time,
and there will be setbacks along the way.
But by showing up and staying consistent, you'll be amazed at how far you can go.
Don't give up,
keep pushing,
and trust the process.

Remember, progress isn't always measured by what you see in the mirror or on the scale.
Sometimes, the most important aspect of progress is discipline and consistency.
Even when you're not seeing the results you want, it's important to stay committed to your goals.
Here are 3 things to keep in mind if you’re starting out on your own journey.
1️⃣ Set realistic expectations:
It's important to set realistic expectations for yourself and your progress. Losing weight or gaining muscle takes time, so don't get discouraged if you're not seeing results right away.
2️⃣ Stay consistent with your healthy habits:
Consistency is key when it comes to making progress. Make healthy habits a part of your daily routine and stick with them, even when it's hard.
3️⃣ Celebrate small victories:
Celebrate the small victories along the way, whether it's running a little bit farther or lifting a little bit more weight. Acknowledging your progress can help keep you motivated and on track.
Remember, progress takes time and effort.
Discipline and consistency are the most important aspects of making progress.
Keep pushing yourself,
Stay committed to your goals
The results will come.

Want to set a positive example for your kids when it comes to healthy eating habits?
It's all about leading by example!
Here are 3 tips to help you promote healthy eating habits in your household:
1️⃣ Eat a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables: Make it a priority to include a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables in your family's meals. Not only are they packed with essential vitamins and minerals, but they also set a great example for your kids.
2️⃣ Choose whole foods over processed options: When grocery shopping, opt for whole foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. This will help your kids develop a taste for healthier, more nutritious foods.
3️⃣ Get your kids involved in meal planning and preparation: Encourage your kids to be a part of the meal planning and preparation process. This will not only get them excited about healthy eating, but it will also teach them valuable life skills.
By setting a positive example for your kids, you're not only promoting healthy eating habits but also setting them up for a lifetime of good health.

On Thursdays I host a Zoom call for all of my clients to meet and talk.
We share struggles
We share wins
We discuss priorities in life and in fitness
It had become my favorite 45 minutes of the week because these are my people!
As a Personal trainer and Registered Dietitian I have a mission to help as many people as possible get real long term results.
I’m ecstatic that 98% of my current clients have made progress this year so far.
Some have lost over 25 pounds.
Some are only down 2.
Others are up by 6 because they’re getting big 💪🏼
Either way we are all improving ourselves one day at a time.
And I love being their leader in this process.
If you want a coach for your own fitness journey, let me help.
If you’ve been working hard since the new year and you haven’t made progress, maybe you need a coach.
Either way, shoot me a dm and I will see what I can do for you.

Sometimes the photos tell you more than the scale.
Sometimes it’s the way your jeans fit that tell you you’ve made progress.
Sometimes it’s the scale that validates your hard work.
Sometimes it’s the increased strength and endurance in the gym.
Sometimes it’s bloodwork that comes back and your doctor says keep it up.
And sometimes it’s not.
The important thing to remember if you’re on a fat loss journey is that progress looks different for everyone.
Just because Susie lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks doesn’t mean your 5 are insignificant.
Run your race.
Have realistic expectations.
Put your head down.
And do the work.

Making time for moments like these are everything for me.
Im thankful for the opportunities that have come my way to allow and I to run businesses from home.
All the 4am wake ups and 11pm bed times to squeeze in work are worth the 2pm playtimes in the snow!
Im also thankful for our health, strength, and mobility to be comfortable playing like this in the snow 💪🏼

17 days in and my man is getting LEAN!
Now he is not a novice in the gym.
He already has a great base of knowledge and strength.
All I’ve done is given him a solid set of macros to be in a caloric deficit with high protein to maintain as much muscle as possible.
Then we adjusted his workouts a little, gave him a little more cardio to help burn the fat.
He has done AMAZING with the plan so far. Down over 7 pounds and the pictures speak for themselves.
And now the most important part of my job continues.
I hold him accountable.
I check in on him.
I make sure he is doing the work every day to hit his goals.
As a coach, I have two jobs.
1- solve your problem. We did that with a solid fat loss plan.
2- Hold you accountable. I do that by checking your nutrition logs, workout logs, and weekly check ins. I won’t let you quit until you tell me to F off and leave you alone.
So if you are struggling losing that last bit of fat to get ready for beach season 2023, hit the link in my bio to apply for coaching.
I know it’s difficult asking for help as men.
But everyone needs a coach sometimes, and I can help you.

Lunch date today with
I’d like to point out to all those who are working on some fitness goals that it is still possible to go out to eat and enjoy a decent meal.
Here’s the 3 things I had and why!
1️⃣ Water. It’s got no calories and I need to hit my 120 oz water goal!
2️⃣ Bruschetta. It was the only app that wasn’t deep fried 😅
3️⃣ Grilled chicken Salad with Italian. Italian was lower calorie than the Caesar option, grilled chicken gets my protein in and it was delicious and filling.
With some discipline in my choices I was able to enjoy a wonderful lunch date with my wife and stay on track with my diet.
These are all sustainable tips that I teach in my Max’d Out Fitness FB group.

This little man is growing up way too fast!
I can’t wait to run around with him, play baseball, drive go karts, shoot guns, everything!!!
But for now he can stay small.
Because I know I’m going to miss these days 🥲

I’ve never stuck to my workout and nutrition plan while traveling before.
This last week we spent 2 nights at Great Wolf Lodge with the kids.
And let me tell you, it was a blast!!
The park was nearly empty, I have adult money for the arcade, and the gym was decent and empty.
looked like a smoke show the whole time of course 😍
And she really helped me stay on track.
We planned the food ahead and took extra sources of protein for me.
She kicked me out of bed to go workout and deal with clients in the morning.
And when we got home yesterday I was extremely happy to have stuck to the plan and had a wonderful time with the family,
So take it from the guy who always over eats and gains 10 pounds on a vacation…
It’s possible to stick to it.
Plan ahead.
Make a couple tough decisions.
Choose the fork in the road that is the harder path, because this one will often lead to success.
