Middle School Baseball Practice is in full swing, and we could not be more excited for this group!!

Coach Adams has assembled an incredible coaching staff featuring current college players, we have a great turnout of 20+ kids every day even during fair season, and we cannot wait to see this group in action! A huge shoutout to our current HS players that have volunteered their time to help our the future of our program including SRs Cal and Clint Lemmons and SOs Clayton Atchison and Adam Parsons!

Come on out tomorrow to Curtis G Casbon Field to see them in some scrimmage action from 9-10:30 am! The first game for this group is next Wednesday 8/5 at Portage HS vs the MS Indians!

A huge congratulations to SR RHP/UTIL Drew Horvath on his commitment to Indiana Wesleyan University!!

We could not be more happy for Drew and his family, and cannot wait to see what he can do in his senior year and beyond!!! Drew is the 4th Cherokee to commit to play at the next level since 2024!

Drew was all conference in 2025, winning Team Cy Young, touching 88 MPH with his fastball. Drew started 10 games, throwing 44.1 IP with 56 Ks to 25 BB, a 2.53 ERA and 1.29 WHIP facing some tough opponents! One of his highlights was a CG performance @ South Central to win our first PCC tournament game since 2018! Drew was also excellent at the dish, slashing .345/.478/.972 with 10 XBH including a HR. He spent time at 3B and in the Outfield when not on the bump!

We believe its an excellent fit for Drew and are really excited for him to get to work with the excellent coaching staff down in Marion!

Congrats to SR C/IF Cal Lemmons on being invited to the prestigious Senior Future Games which involves the best uncommitted talent in the entire country! Cal will compete for Team Midwest and we cannot wait to follow.

What we know- Cal will make an incredible asset for any program that takes a chance on him. He leads the pitching staff, handles the strike zone very well, punishes mistakes in the zone, and will only continue to get better! Cal put on close to 20 pounds this past year of muscle, and we cannot wait to see what he can accomplish in his Senior campaign!

Cal has also been named PBR 1A All State 2 years in a row!

We want to give a HUGE congratulations to our Morgan Summer League Teams that took home the championships Wednesday at MT! We are so proud of all our teams and their growth throughout the year, and extremely proud of our 12U and 8U Parker teams that brought home the Championship!

The 12U squad finished 9-3 and avenged an early loss to Washington 12U to take the championship! These boys showed that Morgan grit as they were down 12-3 after 3 innings. They battled all the way back and tied it in the 6th on a Deacon Kandel single and took the lead on a Jeremy Haas 2 RBI double! They added another insurance run on a Bow Leib double! Austin Schoff was a dominant force out of the bullpen throwing 3 no hit innings with 7 Ks to get the W!!

The 8U Parker squad finished 13-1 and came back from an early 4-0 deficit vs Washington. Hudson Littrell hit a go ahead 3 run 💣 to take a 7-4 lead and they held on for a 7-6 W! Easton Smiley and Leo Parker also had multiple hits! Andrew Theodossopoulos closed it out with a great shutdown inning to close out the championship!

Also want to congratulate the 13-15U squad that ended runner up with a 9-2 record and the other teams that competed well all year!
