Wow, this weekend showed what these Gator Girls are about! Playing in an LP4U in St.Charles against a very good Illinois Lightning team, we were able to be a part of one of the most exciting come back wins this team has been a part of! Not only did they do it once, but they did it twice. The grit and fight these girls show is something that can’t be coached. They have the hunger in them, and it sure is fun to be a part of! 💪🏻
Going 2-2 on the weekend doesn’t do justice to the growth of this team over the past few years. It’s always exciting to see the plays you practice, working in a game. The ex*****on at the plate you practice, working in a game. The diving catches, plate discipline, and game IQ and awareness, are all areas of growth that come with years of playing. And it sure it showing! So excited to see where this season takes us!
