Long post:
We have officially ended our 2026 swimming season. (Hint, hint)
This year we had new management, new parks chair, and many new ones in our crew. It was a major learning experience. We have had an immense amount of support, patience and understanding with every curveball that we got thrown and we overcame just about every single one.
Okay, so the air quality put a wedge in our plans, and the rain was a little too “generous” this season…
But we also…
*Got a HUGE slide repair done (Thank you to the Swanks and Rae Ann for their complete dedication to this)
*got all of the lifeguards a raise they so much deserved
* new loungers
*accept cards
*expanded our kitchen options with adding fresh cut fries, pizza and mozzarella sticks
*added in adult lap swims
And honestly so much more behind the scenes that will make a HUGE difference next year.
I want to thank our sponsors, our crew, those that donated meals to our team, our volunteers, including the kiski swim team, the fire department for their days of cleaning out the pool for us, Spot on Exterior pressure washing, the Swanks, Five Blessings Cleaning, those that came and supported us, Glenn for coming up and fixing random things, Lou- our favorite pool guy, those that filled in spots and lastly, Rae Ann our parks and rec chair who volunteered about 100 hours (probably more) of her own time at the pool.
Please keep a watch on our page because we will be this year opening sales for 2027 season passes for Christmas gifts and have one more fun thing planned.
THANK YOU!
