🏆 Pickleball Student of the Month! Denise Baez Backus 🏆 Congratulations to an incredible student who has been playing pickleball for just four months and is already putting in the work to become a more competitive and confident player! After taking weekly lessons and putting what she has learned into action, she competed in the GP Summer Women Doubles League on Tuesday nights. Her dedication to learning proper form, technique, and strategy from the beginning has really started to show. It has been awesome watching her confidence grow and seeing her better understand the game with every lesson. Her kind words about our lessons mean a lot to me, and I’m proud of the progress she has made!

What makes this achievement even more special is the commitment she has shown by continuing to come out and work on her game no matter what the weather brings. Whether we’re dealing with blistering Florida heat, humidity, wind, or rain, she keeps showing up ready to learn and improve. That dedication is exactly what I want to see from every one of my students. You don’t get better by waiting for perfect conditions—you get better by showing up, putting in the work, and staying committed to the process. 💪🏓 Congratulations on being Student of the Month! Keep working, keep learning, and keep building that confidence. I’m excited to see how far your game goes! 🎉

Take a moment to see student of the month for August! Mary ann!
Mary ann has been playing for 3 years and just completed an intermediate mixed doubles league. She always brings a wonderful attitude to the courts and is always ready and eager to put in the hard work during the lessons! Her great attitude is helping her push past where she thought she reached her peak skill level and is helping her grow into a better player every day! If you see her on the court just know every day is an improvement!

Congratulations to the student of the month for july! Meet Peter! Peter is on an amazing weight loss journey where he has lost over 150lbs! That is amazing! His positive attitude shines brighter than the sun in july! Peter quickly grasped the basics and found he has a natural backhand slice that can catch his opponents unprepared. In the pictures above we worked on a shot everyone grows to love the overhead smash! Give a round of applause to this dedicated student that doesn't let the heat stand in his way!
