🎉 BIG NEWS for our Step Up families! 🎉

Elizabeth Mission of Dance is officially an APPROVED DIRECT PROVIDER for Step Up For Students! 💛🩰

What does this mean? Instead of paying EMD out of pocket and submitting invoices for reimbursement, eligible families can now reserve scholarship funds directly through the Step Up Marketplace for their EMD classes! 🙌

✨ CURRENT EMD FAMILIES: Miss Ellie will be sending detailed instructions on how to transition your remaining Fall Semester tuition to direct Step Up payments. Please do not make any changes to your EMD Parent Portal account—we’ll take care of that part for you!

✨ NEW FAMILIES: Interested in using your PEP/Step Up scholarship for dance classes? Reach out to Miss Ellie before reserving funds so we can walk you through the process and help you select the correct service.

We are SO excited to make quality, Christ-centered dance education even more accessible to families in our community. 🤍

Questions? Contact Miss Ellie—we’re happy to help!

🌿 Introducing The Rested Mama: A Stretch & Scripture Class for Moms 🌿

Mamas, this one is for you. 🤍

You spend so much of your lives pouring into everyone else—your children, families, homes, work, and communities. The Rested Mama is an invitation to slow down, breathe, move, and be poured into for a change.

Once a semester, join us at Elizabeth Mission of Dance for an evening of Stretching & Scripture designed specifically for moms seeking rest, renewal, and deeper connection with God.

Led by marriage & family therapist Bekah Hilts and EMD Owner/Director Ellie Hæstad, our evening will include light refreshments, Scripture and reflection, gentle stretching and movement, and intentional time to care for both body and soul. 🌸

📅 October 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM
📅 April 10, 2027 at 6:00 PM
✨ Completely FREE!
🤍 RSVP is required.

You don’t need to be a dancer. You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to have it all together.

Just come as you are.

Tag a mama who could use an evening of rest, and come join us. 🌿💛

RSVP by scanning the QR code on the flyer or visiting elizabethmissionofdance.com/the-rested-mama-stretch-scripture.

🎉 We’re so excited to share some BIG news! 🎉

Elizabeth Mission of Dance will have a booth at the Dance XChange in Port Charlotte on Sept 5th! 🩰✨

We’ll be bringing a Dancer Encouragement Bar—filled with encouraging gifts, bracelets, Scripture cards, dancer goodies, baked treats, and more! Our hope is to encourage dancers from all over Florida while raising funds to support our program and outreach of EMD. 💛

We’re also collecting gently used dance costumes to help support this fundraiser! If you have recital costumes, leotards, shoes, or other dance items sitting in a closet that your dancer has outgrown or no longer uses, we’d love to give them a second life.

✨ Donations can be dropped off at the studio over the next few weeks.

If you’re attending Dance XChange, be sure to stop by our booth, say hello, and grab a little encouragement! We’d love to see you there.

Thank you for supporting our mission to use dance to share the love and encourage others in our community. We can’t wait! 💕🩰
