💙 Hope. Help. Healing. Community. 💙

Vidalia Rotary was honored to welcome Mr. Jimbo Partin and Ms. Amy Cruz with Gardens of Hope as they shared about the meaningful work they are doing to help individuals and families affected by addiction in our community.

They spoke with us about the Save A Life Station, the 5 S’s, and the importance of Narcan (naloxone) in helping save lives during an opioid overdose. They also explained how Narcan is used and how Gardens of Hope can help individuals and families access this lifesaving resource.

Their work is supported through the Georgia Opioid Crisis Abatement Trust, CDC, Meadows New Foundation, DBHDD, and the Lions Quest Grant, helping them continue to provide education, resources, support, and hope to those who need it most.

Addiction can impact an entire family, and no one should have to walk that journey alone. We are so thankful for people like Jimbo and Amy who are willing to stand beside individuals and families, offer encouragement, provide resources, and remind them that there is always hope.

✨ Let Your Light Shine! ✨

What a wonderful time at the 2027 United Way Kickoff Luncheon! It was inspiring to gather with so many community leaders, organizations, and friends who are committed to making a difference throughout Toombs, Montgomery, and Wheeler Counties.

This year’s theme, “Let Your Light Shine” – John 1:5, is such a beautiful reminder that even one act of kindness can bring hope and encouragement to someone in need. 💙💛

Our community goal is $510,000, and every gift—large or small—helps support programs that strengthen families, create brighter futures, build healthier communities, and make a lasting impact.

We are grateful to everyone who gives their time, talents, and resources to help our neighbors. Together, we truly can make our community brighter! 🌟
