The Millville Public Library is excited to partner with the Cumberland County Department of Health to offer a new community resource. Beginning Friday, April 10, a social worker will be available at the library from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM to provide support and assistance.
In April and May, the social worker will be at the library on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. Days and times may be adjusted as the program develops.

SNAP: New Jersey was notified by the federal government that if the shutdown continues, November 2025 Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits may not be available on time. It is unclear if SNAP benefits loaded on participants’ Families First EBT card prior to October 31, 2025 will be able to be used after November 1, 2025. NJ Human Services has alerted community food banks & pantries as well as more than 5,000 stores, grocers, and farmers markets that accept SNAP that the USDA has directed NJ to hold monthly benefits for November.
