Running at Chickasaw Trails Invitational

Cross Country Team did well at the Chickasaw Trails Invitational. Aurellia ran a new PR and came in 5th in the small schools 5K. She also set a new Vinemont High School 5K record with a time of 20:48.88.
The boys also finished well with several of them having a new PR.

🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ 2026 Vinemont XC Invitational is set for Thursday Sept 17. 1st race starts at 4:00 PM. Registration is still open to All AHSAA XC teams. Come race our course and win some cool swag. Top 50 finishers in each race get a Vinemont Invitational water bottle sponsored by M A Jackson Co Sunrooms, Patio Covers, Pergolas, Screen Rooms & Enclosures. There will also be some great food and refreshments by Travelin' Tom's Coffee and Papa Sam's Hot Dogs for purchase during the event.

🏁 Vinemont High School raced in their 1st XC meet of the season in White Plains, AL at the "Wildcat Kickoff". 258 boys raced and 175 girls raced.

🥈🏃‍♀️ Aurellia Powell placed 2nd in 1A-3A division and 4th overall for 1A-6A.
🏅🏃‍♂️ Anakin Powell placed 8th in the 1A-3A and 15th overall for 1A-6A.

🏃‍♂️ Abram Powell 63rd overall and 33rd 1A-3A
🏃‍♂️ Logan Holt 188th overall and 112 1A-3A
