Not the way we wanted our season to end, but the final score is no reflection of how competitive this game was. We will be back and better next year.

We will never be able to thank our seniors enough for their dedication and commitment to this team. Ella and Chyann, we love you both so much, and we will miss you more than words can express.

A great win on Senior Night!!!

We had a wonderful day celebrating our seniors, Chyann and Ella. Ella Athey-Stapleton earned the win on the mound with 9 strikeouts in 5 innings. The Falcon offense was led by Siena Gandolfo and Ava Atkins who combined for 6 hits and 6 RBIs. We can’t believe this was our last home game of the season, but we are excited to hit the road for post-season play next week!

‼️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ALERT‼️

Ella has been a member of the Cox Varsity Softball team for four years and played an extremely important role in establishing a winning culture. Ella has shown her superior athletic ability while in the circle and at the plate demonstrating superb hitting and pitching ability. When she isn’t pitching, she plays outstanding defense at first base.

Ella is also a natural leader who takes it upon herself to support her teammates at all times and be the loudest voice in the dugout. Her hard work and immense efforts have lead to her be able to continue her academic and athletic success at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall. She will go down as one of the most impactful players and leaders in this program’s history and will be dearly missed by her teammates and coaches alike.

We love you, Ella!!💚💛

‼️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ALERT‼️

Chyann has become a core member of the softball program during her time at Cox High School. She is best known by her teammates and coaches for her contagious energy, DAWG mentality, and team-first attitude.
Chyann is always the first, and loudest, one on the fence cheering on her teammates. On the field, she has become an unstoppable outfielder and a key piece of the Falcons’ lineup. Chyann has worked incredibly hard to be in the position she is in, graduating an entire year early. She will be attending Old Dominion University to study Kinesiology this fall.
We will miss our biggest cheerleader more than words can describe! We love you, Chyann!💚💛

Huge shout out to Siena Gandolfo, Daisy Kriz, Lyric Alfier, and Chloe Vice for leading the Falcon offense. And a GIANT shoutout to Ella Athey-Stapleton for dominating on the mound. We are back on the field Tuesday 5/19 at HOME to take on the Ocean Lakes Dolphins at 4:30pm.
