It's that time of year where VCU is preparing for another exciting class this Fall! Join students and their families at the Hampton Roads Student Send-Off to celebrate their exciting new chapter on Thursday, August 8th from 6-8pm at Great Neck Park and Indoor Pavilion located at 2513 Shorehaven Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the following:

Check-in
Family support/Q&A
Networking with students
Clean-up
Volunteers will be plugged into positions as needed.

Elite Scholastic Meet 24' registration is open! The top 2 overall finishers in each high school and middle school event will receive an automatic bid to the new balance nationals meet for that event, with a waived entry fee for the the same qualifying event.

When your record is still ranked in the top 5 fastest times almost 32 years later. Track and field may have evolved with technology and gadgets, but in the words of Andre Cason, if you want to see the perfect sprint mechanics, just look at Jesse Owens. In other words, speed is an evolution.

Elite Scholastic Meet ‘24 is an official automatic qualifier for New Balance high school Indoor Nationals. The Gold and Silver Medalists in every event will receive an automatic entry to compete at New Balance Indoor Nationals, with all entry fees waived.

All Athletes must compete for their AAU/USATF Club, or compete unattached.

Venue: Virginia Beach Sports Center

Time: College Fair: 10:00am-1;00pm (free)
Meet: 2:00pm-5:30pm (semi-finals for 60m dash and 60m hurdles at 1:00pm)
