Getting sunlight isn’t just β€œnice” β€” it’s necessary β˜€οΈ

A few minutes of daily sun exposure can: β€’ Support vitamin D levels (bone + immune health)

✨️ Ya girl got 1st place this past weekend in a bikini contest! ✨️

My 1st contest WIN! ⚑️

My number was called and I literally was like "no s**t, really!? "

This win holds a special place in my heart because not only is it my 1st overall win but it's also my 1st promo events since prep has ended.

I'm pretty sure everybody suffers from body dysmorphia especially within the 1st month after competing. I was hesitant at 1st to book these events because I wasn't sure how I was going to feel in a bikini but I decided to change my mindset and show up With my best self and my best attitude.

I definitely didn't get enough pictures of the whole night But my dress for round one was nothing but glitter and my bikini for round 2 was also nothing but glitter because all I want to do even in my darkest moment is shine as bright as I can. ✨️

And I fu***ng did it. πŸ†

There was one of the girl bartenders that was there who saw me after and she said "Girl, you always look good but tonight you looked amazing! " She doesn't know how much I needed that!

Beauty is not just skin deep and once you learn to truly project your inner self, it can be one of the most gorgeous things in the world. πŸ™

9 years ago today I took a leap of faith and haven't stopped running since my feet hit the ground. Almost to a fault lmao.

I work alot, on alot.
But
I do it because I love it.
I do it because I chose to do it.
I do it because it empowers me.

Today's a dope day for me because I remember the fear I had, the thought that failure was a possibility. The unknown can be terrifying.

9 years later, I've lost alot, but I've never failed because I refuse to give up. πŸ’ͺ🏾

You do not gain courage by the lack of fear.
You do not grow through lack of pain.
You do not gain strength through the lack of weight both physically and mentally.

You DO have the ability to allow yourself to follow your passions and you possess the creative control to design a life that you love.

You just have to believe in yourself.

They say that a picture is worth a 1000 words but they don't tell you that some pictures can literally take your breath away.

I've never seen a stage shot like this before! And I was literally in awe when it was one of me.

It's all about perspective.

This picture captured EVERY emotion that I had on that stage and it shows you my perspective FROM the stage.

The lights.
The judges.
The audience.

Art inspires emotion.

I love the head judges attention.
I love that I can see Kyle in the crowd.
I love that this moment in my life was so beautifully captured.
I love that I'm the art that created this.

I love to share my perspective and try to understand others. That's what my social media is about. Sharing my perspective of life and following yours.

I want to learn and better understand people.

I also want to inspire and educate.

There's so much beauty and power in transitions. The more resistant you are to change the harder it is to flow. The more open your heart is the easier it is to grow.

Trust the process. πŸ™

Post show is always the hardest for me.
The transition to an off season, the biggest mental battle.

Show day is such a high for me so the transition after always comes with a low. πŸ˜–

There's the reverse diet and a lifestyle shift because my focus shifts, and then there's also post show blues.

But this isn't my 1st rodeo and so every year I do a bit better with post show.

This year, I have SOOO much I'm working on outside of bodybuilding. Which is both good and bad because I need a vacation. πŸ™ƒ

I plan on using my other goals, outside of bodybuilding, to keep me in check and keep my mental game strong and upbeat.

I have to be intentional about it though. Step by step, day by day. Accept I'm not perfect but instead striving to do better.

I have to make time to process my emotions.

I have to communicate my feelings to those around me.

I need to make time for rest and recovery and not dive into something else as a distraction.

Being intentional with your life will help you over the speed bumps. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

What do I currently do in life ?

I'm a personal trainer in a private training facility, taking on new in person and online clients.

I'm a partner with a dope superfoods company.

I'm a promotional model.

I'm also a server.

I'm a fur mom of 4, a friend, a girlfriend, a daughter, and I want to be so much more.

Each of these things i am, I've created in some way and I control my future with each of these things.

In the off season, I definitely water my personal relationships more. Everyone's supported me this far in prep and in life.

I try to give back as much as I can because in prep, these people give alot to me.

I wouldn't be where I am without everyone's constant love and support.

I appreciate everyone in my life so much. You give me the strength to transition with grace.

I keep saying this is just the beginning.
The beginning to what though? ( of long af posts, buckle up )

I'm ecstatic to say that it's the beginning of so much!

1st though it's the beginning of sharing more on social media. So I hope ya like this mug πŸ€ͺ

I shut myself off from the world for awhile. To really be with myself and to really learn to love myself and what that looks like for me.

Ya see, loving yourself isn't a superficial thing. It's not anything tangible.

It's how you move, how you act and respond, it's how you let other people treat you and then how you treat yourself. It's setting boundaries and enforcing them. It's having uncomfortable conversations. It's standing up for yourself because you deserve better. You deserve to be loved, always.

I hear, "we are our own worst enemy, our own worst critic." And I agree this can be true, but we can also be our own biggest fans. We have that choice, so choose love.

Picture the person you love the most, outside of yourself. How do you treat them? And how do you want them to be treated? What would you not allow if you saw it ?

If you would go to any length to love and protect that person why do you not do yourself the same service?

From me to me, "Liv, honey, if you want to empower the world, you must first empower yourself. It all starts with you."

I've been empowered for a bit, I've been digging deep and growing and I've been doing the behind the scenes work.

I was told by a good friend, when I was ready to share I would, and here I am now.

Ready to share and ready to start my journey on empowering the world through love.

And no this ain't some hippie s**t neither. It's real, it's honest, and yall gon hate me but again, it's just the beginning.
