RBA South Prep

Prep boys ended their season winning the Top Gun-USA Wooden Bat World Series in Myrtle Beach, SC. These 10 boys went 5-0, playing only 20 innings, scored 46 runs, allowed only 3 runs and used only 4 pitchers with 100% solid defense behind them through all 5 games. Extremely impressed with their fielding hitting, base running, pitching and their support towards one another. A well deserved championship win for these boys, who are bringing home metals, rings and each get a new wood bat shipped to them.

A weekend without rain, beautiful weather & determined boys. Our Prep boys played with everything they had this weekend, great sportsmanship, lots of laughs on and off the field and made plenty of new baseball buds. They went 5-0, scoring 65 runs and allowing only 6. Proud of each of you!

Eager to play more Saturday but the rain had different plans. Ended up in 2nd place due to the rain policy. Looking forward to getting a full weekend of play in again soon.

As coaches leaving the field from a long weekend pumped is a great feeling but what makes it outstanding is not the fact that our Prep boys played up in 14U, went 5-0 and brought home the Championship of the 14U Swing for the Rings (which is awesome & well deserved) but seeing how our boys had each others back was the icing on the cake. Having players that are playing JV & injured players has put a lot of restrictions on our team for the start of our season but our guys needed to have field time and boy did they all step up to the plate....several players played positions they have never played before for us including pitching and catching and they gave it their all, never backed down and they all covered for each other the whole weekend. We are proud of these boys, the excellent teamwork and the sincere attitudes they kept through it all.

Thank you to our Prep boys for allowing us to coach y'all through an exceptional weekend of baseball and playing your hearts out till the bottom of the 7th inning of the Championship game!!

Congratulations to W-Butta, Big Daddy T and Fluffy on their Homeruns this weekend on the big boy fields, 300+. Shout out to our smallest, but fierce players Mightly Mouse & BB who held the fort down the 2nd half of the Championship game as pitcher and catcher. Our boys faced the fastest pitching they have ever seen, mid 80's from a variesty player, this weekend as well.

Congratulations Prep Boys and we look forward to continuing to grind and grow together.
