With the cold, blustery weather blowing in, it's tempting to abandon your routine and just tuck your horses in their stalls for the duration. Don't do it! Abrupt changes in their routines are more likely than weather to contribute to colic in your horse. Instead, feed more hay/forage and find a way to offer WARM water.
