A great season comes to end with a State Runner-Up trophy in the Championship game against Wittenberg. Final score 5-2. Viroqua also received the Sportsmanship Award. Connor Mathison, Alex Hoyum, and Myles Frye were named to the All-Tournament Team.

The 138ers are very fortunate to have wonderful fans and community support. Thanks to all of you!

We are very grateful for Pete Swanson starting our legion team 50 years ago and building it into what it is today. Also, a big thanks to his family for all of their support and sacrifice.

This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it!

The 138ers played one of their best games of the year defeating Westby 9-2. Home runs by Jack Dahl and Alex Hoyum. Championship game tomorrow at noon against Wittenberg. Viroqua will have to beat them twice to be state champs.

Westby will play Viroqua at 6 pm Monday. Game is on Q102.3 FM at 5:45. This allows St. Mary's Springs to leave earlier if they are eliminated.

A great start to the state tournament in Westby. The 138ers beat rival Denmark 3-0 behind Brayden Peterson’s 15 strikeouts. Viroqua and Denmark have squared off 5 times in the state tournament the past 5 years, Viroqua winning 3 of those games.
The guys play Wittenberg Saturday at 4:00.

Tough loss to end the fun weekend in Ely. St. Louis park scored 3 runs in the last inning to beat the 138ers 4-3.

Thank you to parents and family members for organizing a potluck between games today in Ely. We lost our first game to Thunder Bay 3-0 and won our second game 4-3, scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to walk it off against Roseau, MN.
