🗣️ BEITEL AT THE BUZZER:
6th Grade Wadsworth Grizzlies Edge Out Jackson in Last-Second Thriller
In a tournament game that will be talked about in the hallways for weeks, the Wadsworth Grizzlies 6th grade squad pulled off a stunning victory over Jackson clinching the win in the most dramatic fashion possible.
With the clock winding down and the pressure at a boiling point, the Grizzlies found themselves trailing with only seconds to spare. That’s when Leo Beitel stepped into the spotlight.
With just 4 seconds remaining, Beitel launched a deep three-pointer that seemed to hang in the air forever. As the buzzer sounded, the ball found nothing but net, erasing Jackson's lead and sending the Wadsworth bench into a total frenzy!!!

On behalf of the Grizzly Basketball Club, we would like to thank all of our amazing players and families for an incredible season!
The growth, effort, and character these kids showed every week was something special. From the first practice to the final whistle, the attitude and character of these kids is incredible. We are proud of how they competed, supported each other, and represented our program.
To the families—thank you for the rides, the encouragement, and the constant support. We couldn’t do this without you!
To the coaches - We can’t thank you enough for your time, energy and dedication. Your efforts will forever be a part of each players journey.
This season was about more than wins and losses—it was about player development, teamwork, building confidence and friendships within the community. We are so proud of this group and excited for what the future holds! 🏀🐻❤️
