The Waldwick Soccer Association was formed in 1971 and incorporated as an Independent NJ Non Profit Corporation in 1976. WSA is managed by an executive board composed of volunteers. The association is not controlled, owned or managed by the municipality, it is not funded by tax dollars. It is a private sports club and it is not a public accommodation organization or a charity. red but participation subject to terms of participation. Spots on teams are always limited and up fast in any given registration year, so it is best to register as soon as registration opens each spring in order to have best chances of being able to be placed on a team. The Association strives at teaching the game of organized soccer, focusing on teamwork, good sportsmanship and fair play, within a positive learning environment. WSA remains a development program for the Waldwick High School and Middle school teams. Today the program consists of around 400 boys & girls ages 5 through 18, ( Kindergarten through High School ages) playing on 28 - 32 teams and coached by a combination of professional trainers in the younger ages and 60 - 75 volunteer coaches. Waldwick Soccer offers programs for kids from kindergarten through High School. Players in grades 3 and above play against other local towns, affiliated with the Northwest Bergen Soccer Association (NWBSA), which s a rec travel league while the younger players play against each other in-town games.
