Worlds recap!!! Last weekend we traveled to Houston to compete in the FIRST Championship! We competed on the Milstein field and ranked 3rd! We captained the third alliance and placed fourth on our field!! It was a great end to an amazing season and we look forward to our offseason events!!!

We did it!! 💛💙Team 7407 is officially the 2025 FIRST New England District Champions!! After taking the win in the Sosick Field with our amazing alliance partners 6324 and 839, we pushed through to take home the overall title. Thank you to everyone who supported us—this season has been incredible, and we’re not done yet!

Last weekend we traveled up north in CT to the Waterbury District Event, joining 38 great teams from the NE district. Our robot GripTide put on an incredible show, ranking first after a great set of qualification matches. We were excited to select and to join our amazing alliance, and after an incredible set of elimination matches, our alliance managed to take home the victory, and we ended the event undefeated (17-0) and ranked 17th in the world! On top of this, we also took home the excellence in engineering award. Thanks to all the volunteers and mentors who made this event possible!

How many bits have you broken on the CAD machine? Our co-fabrication lead, Asher, prides himself on only ever breaking one. In off season, Greeny is a swings a golf club faster than he CAMs a piece and enjoys Varsity football.

Meet Raghav, a second year on our robotics team who enjoys fabrication and handling extraneous tasks during the build season. When he's not working hard building the bumpers or brainstorming the next social media post, he enjoys crew and playing on his Nintendo switch and eating gummies. #7407

Everyone say hi to Max, one of our CAD leads. On the off season, Max enjoys crew, Senior Soccer, and supporting events as a member of the pit crew. Max looks forward to the coming season and watching his CAD sketches come to life! #7407

Our very own member of Boar Pen, Favour is a former impact lead and assembly lead on the Robotics team. When she's not bringing the boom to sports games, she's busy winning Choate's community service award and leading events. She looks forward to the coming season!

You may recognize Huber from our popular reel last year. As a second year senior on Choate Robotics, he has contributed immensely to the CAD team, electrical systems, and documentation on websites like Open Alliance. Huber looks forward to his creations coming to life during competitions while he serves on the drive team.

Looking for a star rower, aspiring biomedical engineer, or varsity volleyball player? Cait Ahn is your girl, our favorite bi-varsity athlete(tri if you count robotics😉). She loves being a CAD lead and working on game strategy. She is excited for this upcoming season!!

: A professional rower 🚣 who built a scouting app from scratch 🤖, Cyrus has many roles on Team 7407. He is the Programming Lead, Website Designer and Scouting Team Lead. Last year, he created Boarscout, an app we used for scouting and strategy during FIRST Robotics Competitions.He hopes to study Computer Science and Business in college. We wish him the best of luck.

: Want to learn English, Chinese or German? Our very own Sam Nicholas is a trilinguist. This is her third year on Team 7407, and currently she is the Fabrication Team Manager and Technical Document Manager. 🤖 Sam has been manufacturing pieces for this years FIRST Robotics Reefscape Competition robot and is excited for the build season. She hopes to study Mechanical Engineering or Business in college and continue her fun hobby: rock climbing 🧗
