🏁 MBR RACING — LOOKING AHEAD TO THE 2027 SEASON! 🏁

We’re looking to get a jump start on the 2027 racing season, and we’re hoping to bring some new sponsors along for the ride!

A little backstory: My daughter, Mckinlee Blalock, is 12 years old and from Walnut Cove, NC. She has been racing since 2024, and this past season has been one to remember!

We ran a full season at God’s Garage, and every time we hit the track there, we brought home a win! We also picked up several top-five finishes while racing at four different tracks.

Recently, we made the move up to Jr. 3, and Mckinlee has already shown that she’s ready for the challenge! In just her first two races in the class, she finished 2nd in the warm-up race and 4th in the pro race at Bear Creek Raceway! 💪🏁

We’re learning something new every time we hit the track, making improvements, and continuing to take huge strides forward. Our goal is to keep building on this momentum and give Mckinlee every opportunity to chase her dreams behind the wheel!

🏁 MBR RACING — 2026 SEASON RECAP 🏁

What a season it has been! 💪🏁

We started the season running a full schedule at God’s Garage, and we couldn’t have asked for much more! We had the kart dialed in, the driver was on point, and we went 6 FOR 6! 🏆🔥 Every time we hit the track there, we brought home the win!

We also made a few trips with the Clone in Jr1, and even being over the weight limit, Mckinlee continued to run in the top 5 and show she could compete!

Then came the move up to Jr3, and we’ve been making some really good progress. This past weekend at Bear Creek, we hit the track with a new motor for the first time and came away with a 2nd-place finish in the warm-up race and a 4th-place finish in the pro race! 💪

We were running 3rd in the pro race before getting up in the slick and spinning out. But what made us proud was seeing Mckinlee recognize her mistake and hold herself accountable. That’s what it’s all about — learning, growing, and getting better every time we hit the track! The speed is coming, and we know we’re headed in the right direction! 🏁

We haven’t officially decided where we’ll be racing for sure next season, but one thing is certain: we’ll be chasing a championship somewhere while making trips to other tracks and continuing to learn and grow! 👀🔥

First and foremost, we couldn’t do any of this without our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! 🙏✝️ We give Him all the glory for the opportunities, the lessons, and the blessings along the way.

🏁 BEAR CREEK RACE RECAP 🏁

We headed to Bear Creek Raceway this weekend to race Jr3, and we’re proud of the gains we made! 💪🏁

Mckinlee brought home a 2nd-place finish in the warm-up race and a 4th-place finish in the Pro race! She was running 3rd in the Pro race when she spun out, and unfortunately, there just wasn’t enough time left to make up the ground. That’s racing, and we’re taking the positives from this weekend and moving forward! 💜🩵

We’re learning, making improvements, finding speed, and heading in the right direction. We know there’s more to come, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for Mckinlee and MBR Racing! 🏎️💨

First and foremost, we have to give all the glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! 🙏✝️ Without Him, none of this would be possible, and we are so thankful for the opportunities He continues to give us.

🏁 WOODLEAF DEBUT IN THE BOOKS! 🏁

Yesterday we made our debut at Woodleaf, and we also made our first laps on a JR3 motor! 🔥

This motor is A LOT faster than anything we’ve ever been on, so between a new track and a whole new level of speed, we had a lot to learn. But we found speed all day long and continued making good improvements every time we hit the track!

I couldn’t be prouder of this driver. 💜 She listened, did everything she was told to do, and kept working hard all day. Watching her learn, adapt, and improve is what it’s all about. We’ve got a lot more to learn, but we’re heading in the right direction, and I’m excited to see what the future holds!

Now it’s time to regroup and get ready for the next one! 🎃🏁
