We're now welcoming Wapak students in grades 8–12 to be part of one of the fastest-growing high school shooting sports in the country! Whether you're a beginner or already have shooting experience, everyone is welcome.

Redskin Open Sporting Clay Shoot - 9:00am on Saturday, August 15th at Indian Ridge Sporting Clays.

Open to all youth and adults at any skill level. Invite your friends and family!

Youth can team up with either a parent, alumni, or other adult in the optional Adult/Youth Team Competition.

Great opportunity for Wapak youth to try out Sporting Clays before the fall season starts. All current Wapak Redskin youth shooters and other Wapak kids in grades 8th-12th interested in joining our team need to RSVP by text to Coach Becker for free entry fee and shells. 419-302-3506.

It's a great time to recruit new students to your team, develop skills, try out new disciplines, and get used to new equipment! Talk to your coach and team staff to see if your team will participate!

During just our second full year competing in the Ohio High School Clay Target League, our team proudly fielded 32 high school student athletes who competed in Trap and/or Sporting Clays. We are incredibly proud of the growth, sportsmanship, dedication, and accomplishments of every member of our team.

We are pleased to announce the conclusion of the 2026 State Trap Tournament for the Ohio High School Clay Target League 1A, where our 16 Redskins battled against a competitive field of over 300 top-tier high school trap shooters statewide. Our top performers included Mason Becker with 95/100, Liam Thomas with 92/100, Lucas Schnippel with 90/100, Mason Smithey with 89/100, and Isaac Hayes with 87/100, all ranking within the top third overall. Notably, Senior Mason Becker finished his high school career with a perfect round of 25, securing 17th place overall in the state and the highest score for our club. Additionally, Freshman Autumn Shaffer scored 86/100, securing 13th place in the girls' varsity division. Wapak finished 12th overall in the team standings. We extend our congratulations to all the competitors and look forward to the start of the Fall 2026 Season starting in early August.
