The Warner Robins Mole Crickets fell 3-0 to the Georgia Peach Boys in a game that was about much more than the final score. After reigning NBHL MVP Mario Hughes suffered an injury in the second period that sent him straight to the hospital, the team was understandably shaken by the loss of their teammate—his family on the rink most of all.

Already playing shorthanded for the day, the Mole Crickets gave everything they had for the remainder of the game in honor of Mario. Despite it being the first game the team was held off the scoresheet, their effort, resilience, and determination never wavered.

The Warner Robins Mole Crickets earned a 5-2 victory over the Appalachian Wampus Cats in another strong team performance. Once again, all three Hughes men found the scoresheet as the Mole Crickets controlled the game and closed out the win.

The Warner Robins Mole Crickets came up just short in a hard-fought 4-3 battle against the defending champion Atlanta Dirty Birds. All three Hughes men found the scoresheet, and the Mole Crickets battled until the final buzzer before ultimately falling in the third period.

A tough result, but a performance that showed Warner Robins continues to go toe-to-toe with the defending champs of NBHL Georgia.

Today, we celebrate 250 years of America. We wish everyone a safe, fun, and memorable Independence Day with family, friends, and plenty of celebration.

GAME 3 HIGHLIGHTS 🦗

The Mole Crickets closed out the day in dominant fashion, shutting out the Appalachian Wampus Cats with a commanding 5-0 victory. Warner Robins controlled the game from start to finish, capping off an outstanding team performance.

Captain Mikole Hughes led the way with four goals, while Mario Hughes secured one for himself. Assists came from Mario Hughes, Mikole Hughes, David Dragon, and Anthony Hughes as the Mole Crickets finished the day on a high note in an all around team performance.
