With warm temperatures expected, please make sure your child brings plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the tryout.

Our U10 travel team will compete in the YAYSL this fall, playing teams throughout the Mahoning Valley and surrounding communities.

Please remember:
✅ All interested players must attend tryouts to be considered.
✅ Team selections will be made by the coaching staff.
✅ Travel soccer includes additional fees for uniforms, player cards, team fees, tournament fees, and travel to away games.

If you have not heard from your coach by July 1st, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

At this time, we are unable to make any roster changes. Teams have been finalized and uniforms have already been ordered, so no additions, transfers, or team changes can be accommodated.

Starting August 1, 2026, we’ll be serving you from two locations.

After nearly nine wonderful years at 144 E. Market Street, it’s time for our next chapter. Leaving a place that has been home for so long is certainly bittersweet, but growth often requires taking a leap forward.

The good news? We’re staying right here in Downtown Warren while also expanding to Boardman, across from the Amish Market, giving our customers more convenience, more space, and even more opportunities to connect with us.

We are incredibly grateful for the support, friendships, and memories made at 144. Because of you, we’ve been able to grow into something bigger than we ever imagined.

Warren Youth Soccer League Competitive Soccer Tryouts

WYSL is excited to announce tryouts for our YAYSL Competitive Travel Soccer Team for the upcoming fall season!

Date: Wednesday, July 1
Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Perkins Park

We will be forming a U10 competitive travel team that will compete in the Youngstown Area Youth Soccer League (YAYSL) this fall. This team will play matches throughout the Mahoning Valley, including travel to communities outside of Trumbull County.

Please be aware that participation on the travel team requires additional commitments beyond recreational soccer, including:
• Team fees
• Uniform costs
• Player card fees
• End-of-season tournament fees
• Travel to away games

All players interested in being considered for the team must attend the tryout. Team selections will be made by the coaching staff based on player evaluations during tryouts.

We encourage all interested players to come out and give it their best effort. We look forward to seeing everyone on the field!

Hello Warren Youth Soccer League Families,

While our registration system allowed players to request a coach or teammate, we have always communicated that a request is simply a request and cannot be guaranteed.

With over 365 children currently registered, it is not possible to accommodate every request. No matter how hard we try, honoring some requests would inevitably mean disappointing other families whose requests could not be fulfilled.

The only exception to this policy is siblings. Siblings are guaranteed to be placed on the same team (when registered in the same division) unless a family specifically requests otherwise.

This season, our draft system was designed with the goal of creating more balanced teams throughout the league. While adjustments may be made when necessary, it is simply not possible to satisfy every request while maintaining fairness for all players. Last year, countless hours were spent trying to accommodate requests, and despite our best efforts, it became clear that doing so fairly for everyone was not achievable.

As in previous seasons, volunteer coaches and sponsors are permitted to retain a limited number of players. However, we cannot build entire teams based solely on requests. Our coaches generously donate their time, and many of our sponsors provide financial support that helps keep Warren Youth Soccer League running. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and commitment to our players and community.

We understand that these changes may be disappointing for some families, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and support. What we can promise is that regardless of team placement, every child will have the opportunity to enjoy a fun and rewarding season, make new friends, learn new skills, and create lasting memories.
