We at cubs would like to say that although this season has gotten off to a rough start we are all trying our best to insure the kids have a fun baseball season. We are not pointing fingers and placing blame. We would like everyone to have an enjoyable season. Yes we are all volunteers from the few board members that have stayed to give the kids one last season to the parents who have stepped up to coach. If we all work together we can make this a great season for the kids. And they are the ones that matter the most. So if anyone would like to help out with anything please message us and let us know. We for sure need help this weekend to finish up the fields for opening day and the season. If you would like to come up with a rake or if you have a quad and you would like to drag the fields. Any and all help is welcome.
We understand CUBS is not your full time job. It's not ours either. We all have families and full time jobs and other things going on in our lives. We ask that you please be patient and if you have any questions or concerns or ideas that you think will help please message us and let us know. There is something wrong with our phone line it is not sending us the voicemail like it should. I am hoping to have it fixed before the season but sending us a message on Facebook is the fastest way to get ahold of a board members.
Again we hope you and the kids have a fun season
Attention All players Coaches and families. If anyone practiced at our Chatterton fields this weekend and lost a bat please message here or Soni Jones directly with a description of the missing bat. We had one turned in. Thanks
Also as season begins remember to double check your bags when leaving practices or games. If you do misplace an item feel free to post on our page looking for it.
[05/30/18] As of May 11th uniforms have been ordered and paid for and the insurance for each player has been paid. Due to these expenses refunds after this date can not be done. We charge a very minimal amount to join our league (the cheapest around here) and everything we collect covers the costs of running the league. We apologise for any inconveniences this may cause.
