“After a 4 year hiatus from the full distance, I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter return. My only goal was sub-10 hours, and I reached that. We were not handed an easy day by any means - no current on the swim for those of us who started first, cars on the bike course, and 90 degree blistering sun on the run. I am proud. Was super cool to break the tape at this inaugural race even if I ended up with 2nd overall.”-

An absolute suffer fest from start to finish! A hot day and an interesting/unknown course made it exciting as the day played out. Got everything I could out of myself and raced smart to give myself a chance to run well! To have my family and baby girl cheering me on is a special experience and I’m incredibly lucky! Big day in Massachusetts for JG and Santana!

Santana Silver places 4th Overall and 1st Age Group🥇. JG takes 2nd Age Group🥈and top 10 Overall. 🎉

Santana used this race to blow out the cobwebs while JG added it in during a big training block with a 4 hour session the day before and a 2 hour ride home after!
