Somatic Coaching for survivors reclaiming inner safety
Gentle guidance for coming home to yourself

11/19/2025

Did you catch my interview on Heather Byrd’s new podcast, All About Our Liberation?
We went deep into what it means to return to the body, heal through lineage, and trust ourselves again.
It was a powerful, grounded conversation — and it’s now live.
✨ The full episode is up on her YouTube channel.
✨ I’ll link it in the bio so you can tune in.
Let this be your reminder that liberation begins within the body. Come listen, reflect, and join us in this work.

When my thoughts start racing, I don’t try to “fix” them — I come back to my body.
A slow exhale.
A hand over my heart.
My feet grounding me in the present moment.
These simple cues remind my nervous system that I am safe, here and now.
If you’re learning to regulate your own spirals, I’m here.

At our 2025 retreat, I had the honor of supporting Heather of through somatic stretch therapy — helping her body release, soften, and make space for breath again.
This Monday, we come full circle as she interviews me about somatic therapy and how I create healing spaces for survivors.
The work begins in the body, and it continues in community. 🤍

My personal healing journey showed me how deeply the body holds our stories — especially the ones shaped by sexual trauma. Through somatic work, I found safety, trust, and a renewed relationship with my own body.
Today, I help others do the same. Together, we create space to listen, release, and heal.
There is hope. Healing is possible.

Sometimes dissociation doesn’t look like “zoning out.”
It feels like:
✨ Moving through the day but not feeling truly in your body
✨ Finishing conversations and realizing you weren’t fully present
✨ Feeling numb when you’re supposed to feel something — joy, sadness, even excitement
✨ Knowing you’re safe… but still feeling disconnected
In this moment, I finally named it: I was dissociating.
Not because I was weak, but because my body was trying to protect me.
Dissociation is a trauma response — a brilliant survival strategy that helped many of us get through what once felt unbearable. But healing asks us to gently come back home to ourselves, with support, safety, and compassion.
If you’re noticing these signs in your life — you are not broken. Your body has been protecting you. And you don’t have to navigate your return alone.
💛 If this resonates, reach out. Let’s talk about what healing could look like for you, in community and with care.
📩 DM “SUPPORT” to explore working together or joining the next healing container.
Your body wants to come back to you — let’s walk that path together.

When one woman heals, she makes room for another to begin. 🧡
During the Shredding Rugs launch, Lachrisa didn’t just share her story — she sowed into someone else’s. From her book sales, she donated to Radical Presence, and because of her generosity, another woman will now be able to step into her own healing journey with full support.
In this moment from the launch, Barbara shares her gratitude — not just for the gift, but for what it represents:
📖 Healing that multiplies
🌱 Stories that plant seeds
💛 Community that makes room for each other
This is what Radical Presence is: a space where liberation is shared, grief is held tenderly, and joy is something we offer one another on purpose.
Thank you, , for turning your testimony into someone else’s beginning. May this be the first of many healing ripples.

🕊️ Orientation Practice 🕊️
In this practice, I’m guiding you to bring your body back to safety — to slow down, notice your surroundings, and remember that you’re allowed to feel at ease. As we orient, we remind the body that it’s safe to be here, now. 🤍
✨ Invite me to lead an orientation or somatic session at your next event, retreat, or gathering — and help your community reconnect, regulate, and return home to themselves.
Welcome home to yourself. 🕊️
