7News DC Nick Minock Anna-Lysa Gayle Thank you for highlighting our team and this great cause. They paddled for nearly 18 hours and traveled over 100 km to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association. While their journey may be over, the Alzheimer's Association is still taking donations. Let's all work together to end the darkness of Alzheimer's.

After more than 17 hours and 50 minutes on the river, 100+ km paddled, countless rapids, curses, and damnations, the team has concluded their journey to raise awareness and funds for the fight to end Alzheimer's. We cannot thank the enough for being an amazing partner in this endeavor.

They raised more than $4000, but we're not done yet. You can continue to donate until August 31. Let's all join together to end the darkness of Alzheimer's.

At 00:01, this team will begin their rafting adventure to raise funds and awareness for the fight to end Alzheimer's. We are proud to partner with on this journey, which will take the team approximately 17 hours and cover over 100 km. They will be paddling from Harpers Ferry, WV, through our Nation's Capital and ending in Arlington, VA.

Please join us tomorrow, June 20, 2021, around 5 pm at Island Times Bar and Grill in Arlington for drinks, fellowship, and to celebrate a great cause.
