Jesus: The Original Tradesman

Clock in for a second.
I wanna tell you about the realist working man I’ve ever known —
The one who didn’t just build things…
He built eternity.

Before I was ever forged in grit…
Before there was sawdust, steel, or welding sparks…
He was already at work.

Jesus was a carpenter. A laborer. A builder.
Born in a barn, raised in a blue-collar town, and taught by His earthly father how to use His hands.
But His real trade?

Saving souls.

He took on the hardest job of all — one nobody else could do.
He lived perfect.
Died for the rest of us that didn’t.
Then He rose again, with calloused hands and nail scars that bought our freedom.

See, I used to think life was just about how hard you work.
Stack hours. Pay dues. Earn respect.

But truth is — the only thing I didn’t earn was the most important thing I’ve got.
Grace.

The Original Tradesman stepped in and said,
“I got this.”

And He paid the price for everything I messed up.
So I could walk free. Forgiven.
That’s not soft. That’s not religious.
That’s real.

John 3:16:
“For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.”

Acts 2:38
"Then Peter said to them, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'"

1 John 1:7-9
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 10:13:
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
