🐯🏈 DC WOODLAND TIGERS HAVE A NEW HEAD COACH 🏈🐯
The East Coast Football Association is proud to welcome Coach Charles McGriff as the new Head Coach of the DC Woodland Tigers!
Coach McGriff is no stranger to this game. He has built his coaching career at the semi-pro level, most recently serving as Head Coach of the 2025 3A ECFA Champions- Baltimore Hurricanes. He brings championship-level leadership, defensive expertise, and a genuine passion for developing players the right way.
Coach McGriff didn't just choose any team. He chose the DC Woodland Tigers because he saw the vision, believed in the mission, and was ready to pour into an organization that actually has its act together.
The Tigers are not just adding a coach. They are adding a leader, a competitor, and a proven builder of men.
Coach McGriff, the sideline is yours. Let's get to work. 🐯

The Southern Virginia Packers are MOVING UP! 🚀
The East Coast Football Association is proud to announce that the Packers have made the bold decision to step up from the 2A Division to the 3A Division, the highest level of competition in the ECFA. This isn't just a move. It's a statement.
Competing in the 3A Division means facing the most elite and seasoned teams this league has to offer, bigger matchups, higher stakes, and a greater demand for excellence on every snap. It takes real confidence in your coaches, your roster, and your organization to make this call.
The Packers have shown the heart and discipline to compete at this level, and they've made it clear, they are ready for the challenge.
The ECFA Commissioner and league leadership fully support this move and welcome the Southern Virginia Packers to the top with open arms. The stage just got bigger. Come show us what you've got! 💚🏈

THANK YOU to all of the teams in the East Coast Football Association and to the teams from the NEAFL- Reading Raptors , Virginia Cardinals- Independent, and ACFA- DC Panthers who came out yesterday for the TBFOC Clinic Exhibition games. Your participation represented our level of football well and it is appreciated.
Now let's address something directly — these games were EXHIBITION GAMES. This has already been communicated, but for those who still need clarity, here it is:
The TBFOC is one of the most respected referee development programs in the country. The on-field games are structured specifically so that referees can be evaluated by clinicians in live game situations. The officials are the ones being graded — not the teams. As anyone who has played this game knows, one call can change everything. That is precisely why games used to evaluate and develop officiating cannot and will not count toward your record.
There is no debate here. This was communicated prior to participation and that position has not changed.
What should be taken from yesterday is the opportunity — quality reps on the field, a chance to support the growth of officiating at the highest level, and the privilege of having the ECFA represented on that stage. That is the focus.
Thank you again to every player and coach who came ready to work. 💪🏾
