Self-love is formed through the habits & rituals which fill our daily lives. It’s created by cultivating a life that sends the message to ourselves that we matter & are loved & respected by ourselves, first. It’s declaring our values, & then having the courage to live them. You have you for the rest of your life.

Avoiding Conflict is Conflict.
Avoiding conflict makes you isolate and in turn create stories in your head that may not even be true. We must express our wants and needs. We must create a boundary around running away from tough conversations.
Be brave, vulnerable, tactful, direct and compassionate. We are love. Be loving enough to yourself & others to use that energy to guide you through those tough conversations 💛

I am excited to announce that I am expanding my practice and have joined The Platt Group as a Conflict Coach and Mediator. https://www.theplattgroup.com/neutrals/susan-ross/
Conflict is expensive! I’m not just talking about financially. In addition to money, it costs you time, energy, relationships and your overall emotional and physical well-being. Alternative dispute conflict resolution is something that is near to my heart because it provides a way for all parties to be seen and heard in order to reach the desired outcome. Litigation is contentious, adversarial and you are putting your outcome in someone else’s hands. When parties come to a resolution through mediation rather than litigation, everyone wins.
My international client base includes those in need of conflict resolution in the areas of: divorce, child custody, parent coordination, child/parent relationships, corporate disputes (internal & external), EEO complaints, nonprofits, property settlements, land disputes & malpractice disputes.
I appreciate all of you!! Thank you for your support & referrals 😘

Research has shown if you write down your goals you are 70% more likely to achieve them - JUST by writing them down. If you are in any stage of life reflection & want to review your focus - this wheel is a great place to begin 🎯
The idea of the Wheel of Life is that every part of our life is important, and when one area is out of harmony or out of balance, it puts a strain on the other areas.
Once you know which areas you want to focus on, the next step is to set goals in each of the areas that will help you bring about the level of achievement or accomplishment you desire.
7 Steps To Setting "Actionable" Goals
Step 1: Identify the Goal. Write a clear description of what you want to achieve.
Step 2: List the Benefits. Write out what reward, benefit or positive outcome you will achieve when you reach your goal.
Step 3: List Obstacles That Could Get In Your Way. Things like having enough time, limited resources or simply lack of.
Step 4: List the Skills and Knowledge Your Need To Reach Your Goal. Even if it’s information you don’t yet have, write it down, then go to Step 5.
Step 5: Identify the People and Groups To Work With. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, outsource an action item (or a few) and enlist people who can help you reach your goal.
Step 6: Develop a Plan of Action. Write out each step or task that you’ll need to complete in order to reach your goal as well as how you’ll achieve it.
Step 7: Set a Deadline. The great thing about actionable goals is there is an end in sight. Set a deadline based on your plan of action and list of obstacles and knowledge required. This means you may need to give yourself more time to complete certain milestones, but do your best to set a firm deadline to give yourself a date to work towards.
The Wheel of Life is separated into 7 parts and each of the parts relates to the 7 areas of your life.
Your Personal Life and Social Life: This includes who you spend your time with as well as the things you spend your personal time doing. Are you spending time connecting with those who encourage your growth?
Your Work Life: Are you where you would like to be in your work or career?
Your Family Life: Do you spend time nurturing your family relationships?
Your Spiritual Life: Do you make time to study and grow spiritually?
Your Money: How well are you doing to meet your monthly, yearly budget? Are you saving? Investing?
Your Mind/Intellect: Do you read books, learn new things, study to improve your knowledge and develop yourself personally and keep your mind strong?
Your Health: Do you have a healthy lifestyle – regular exercise, eat healthy – to live as long as you can?
