We stand with Dolores Huerta. As women and daughters of migrant farmworkers, we honor her legacy and dedication of fighting to protect the rights of our community. Our hearts also go out to Ana Murguia, Debra Rojas, and all the survivors.

U.S. Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) will deliver the Spanish response to Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, February 24th immediately
following the conclusion of Trump’s remarks.

There will be two different versions of the State of the Union on Tuesday and only one will be the truth. Senator Alex Padilla & Governor Spanberger will speak honestly to the American people, recognizing the fear, anxiety, and instability created by the Trump Administration.

The Senator's response will stream online and air on national/local Univision, Telemundo, and Spanish Networks.

We were proud to support the with the 43rd Tribute to Mayors Dinner hosted on Wednesday, January 28 in Washington, DC during the U.S. Conference of Mayors Winter meeting. 

Mayor Quinton Lucas of Kansas City received the Antonio Villaraigosa Leadership Award. We were also joined by Mayor Helena Moreno of New Orleans, the city's first Latina mayor, and Mayor David Holt of Oklahoma City and President of the US Conference of Mayors.

Ruben Alvarez, CEO of LLN, delivered welcome remarks, and Mickey Ibarra, LLN Chairman, served as the evening’s host.
