🗣️: Pretty special to pin a number on again and race back in Europe after quite a few months away. Honestly, just finding my rhythm in the chaos of the European peloton again felt exciting in itself, and the team made that whole transition so much easier. 🙌🏻

GP Mazda definitely wasn’t the smoothest day with getting caught up in a crash in the final kilometre, but still, I’m taking a lot of confidence out of the weekend, especially Antwerp, where I spent a good chunk of time in the front group, had genuinely good legs, and for the first time in a while just felt like myself racing again! Feeling especially grateful for how wonderful and welcoming the riders and staff were and looking forward to the next ones 💥

🗣️: Yesterday I set out with the goal of making the breakaway, and I think it’s fair to say I managed that pretty well. After bridging across to an earlier attack, another rider and I worked well together for over 70 km, opening the gap to four minutes before eventually getting caught with just 1 km to go.

A bittersweet feeling to be caught so close to the line, but also an incredible experience in my first major UCI breakaway.

Once the peloton caught us I tried to hold position as best as I could, which was enough for 14th place. My best UCI result 🤗

A brutal effort, but also a big confidence boost heading into the next races. Great ride from the team as well, with three of us finishing in the top 25.

An amazing experience made even better by the people around it

🗣️: It was a nice evening for a TT. The course in general was quite technical and fast. Am happy with my 8th place and also did very well, and excited to improve even more to upcoming TT’s🙂💥
