Bricnic recap 🚴‍♀️☀️

Perfect weather, solid rides, and a classic mix of smooth miles + a few flats to keep things interesting.

Groups rolled out early, handled the usual mid-ride “situations,” (aka flat tires) and still made it back for optional runs, followed by food, drinks, and comparing who had the most eventful ride.

All in all: strong turnout, great routes, and a successful day on two wheels.

Cherry Blossom weekend showed up 🌸💪

From the speedy strides at the 5K to the miles (and smiles) at the 10 Miler, DC Tri was out in full force all weekend long. Huge congrats to everyone who raced — whether you were chasing a PR or just soaking in the vibes, it was a beautiful day to be out there.

And we have to shout out our incredible volunteers at the water station — you were the real MVPs. Hydration, hype, and all the good energy made those miles a little easier for every runner who passed by 🙌

Racers, volunteers, cheer squads… this is what makes this community so special.

From the trails of Rosaryville to open water crossings from Nevis to St. Kitts, and start lines in Smithfield—DC Tri showed up everywhere this past week. High fives to all participants 🙌

Splash, sprints, and smiles!

Our latest Splash & Dash brought the vibes — from first-timers dipping their toes into the sport to seasoned members embracing the first DC Tri Club race event of the season.

This is what it’s all about: low-pressure, high-fun, and a chance to practice race-day basics without the race-day nerves. Huge shoutout to everyone who showed up, cheered each other on, and made it such a welcoming space — especially for our NTP crew getting their first taste of it all.

13.1 miles, countless high-fives, and a whole lot of heart 🏃‍♀️☀️

Huge congrats to everyone who took on the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in DC this weekend — whether you raced, paced, or cheered, you showed up strong.

And a massive THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers who brought the energy (and hydration) at the water station — those cups and cheers hit right when they were needed most.
