The Field of Hope is moving strong and fast. This Saturday, 18th, we have the most important construction day and biggest challenge, which is the "concretagem", when we lay out all the concrete of the field. We are talking about producing, from scratch, 30 tons of concrete, then pouring it it all on the field (over 3.000 wheelbarrows), while the community masons make it look nice - all in one day!

It's a big day and the community is excited. Every once in a while we hear somebody screaming on the streets "Saturday is the concrete day! Nobody can run away!". We recorded a video with Luiza today, one of the leaders and she said she is bringing all the lazy people in the community on Saturday!

WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to all the Just For Kicks Toronto supporters who helped us surpass our $20,000 goal to build the The Field of Hope, through LoveFútbol Brasil.
We'll keep you posted on the next steps for the Field!
