The Bluemont Connection

We’re all about welcoming new racers to CrosstoberFest and this year, we’re teaming up with our friends at to offer a guided course preview at 10:50 – just before juniors (11:20) and novice (12:10). Coaches + experienced racers will show you the lines (including the tricky one in these pics!), share tips, and answer questions.

The course will also be open to all other racers during this 30-minute preview window.

The is an amazing venue, V makes the best food, the riding is challenging, and the landscape is a sight to behold. But what really makes is the people that make up our community. Without them, there is no B3.

The roll out from along the ridge on Branch Mountain, dropping into the valley, up Basore, down Crooked Run, resupply in Columbia Furnace, FS 48 to Wolf Gap, up Judge Rye, main aid station 🎉, Rattlesnake for another 50 miles or back to the Barn on the Bobcat course (but not before climbing the Helmick Rock wall). This is B3.
