A proud moment for our program last night as Student Assistant Coach Donevin Knight and recently graduated Head Media Manager Harmony Bailey were officially drafted into the 2026 NBA HBCU Fellowship program.

Donevin will spend his fellowship with the Indiana Pacers while Harmony will be with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

They also got to spend time with HU manager alum and longtime NBA employee Lamont Fain at the NBA Headquarters.

From summer training at The Burr to the NBA Finals.

It has been a historic 2026 for the Howard Men’s Basketball program. 3rd NCAA Tournament appearance in 4 years. First-ever NCAA Tournament win in school history. The hiring of DC legend John Wall.

Building off that momentum, we are excited to introduce the inaugural “Dream Factory Classic”, a golf outing bringing together Howard basketball supporters for a day of golf, fellowship, and fun ahead of the 26-27 season.

The event will be held August 24th at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland.
