Today, we were invited to dance at the MLK Prayer Breakfast. Let me tell you—these girls have worked so hard to learn this dance, and they went out there and did an amazing job.

There were so many messages during the prayer breakfast but the main message today was “The struggle is real. The fight is still on.” We are living in times where things are hard, but it’s so important that we continue to stay encouraged.

As adults, we must show up for our youth—there’s no other way. In support of Dr. King and his legacy, I’ll leave you with this quote:

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
