More important to me than any other ribbons was to win 2nd and 3rd with Rooster and Monster Patrol.

Rooster Patrol was made in memory of my Mom who passed away after her battle with brain cancer. She had a collection of everything chicken and rooster all over the house and still does. Heavily influenced this truck and Acockalypse. The truck was bought with her credit card since i was too young to have one at the time from Facebook market place via PayPal lol. Yes. I did use mommy's credit card in this case lol.

The radioshack monster Patrol was my first real RC truck i got on christmas. My mom used to sit in the back driveway with me for hours with it. And even retrieved it for me when I decided to run it over the hill in the dead over winter on ice - it of course went all the way down... into the hollow lol. That truck is still all together on display in my basement- but this body is from a parts truck my wife bought me. She also bought me one in the box early on in our relationship.

2 trucks with some history and a lot of meaning behind them. Im sure im not the only one with some childhood toys they wouldn't trade or sell for a million bucks.

Been a crazy couple of months. Between losing my job and my dad having a stroke/brain bleed its been a tough ride.

I left the house unsure of my decision- made sure my dad was okay being home with my sister. And it turned out to be a great time.
