🏁 Race night recap 🏁

Last night wasn’t quite the finish we were hoping for, but overall, it was a great night at the track!

We started 5th in the heat race and finished 6th, then started 11th in the feature and finished 11th.

Not the results we wanted, but for only our second time at this track, we’re pretty happy with the night! We’ve got some things to work on and plenty to learn, but that’s all part of racing. We’ll keep working and come back stronger next time! 💪🏁

Race Recap | Independence Speedway🏁

Last night was our first time racing at Independence Speedway, and we’re proud of the progress we made.

Tylan started 23rd and worked his way through the race to finish 10th in the IMCA Stock Car feature. It was a race filled with multiple cautions and a few DNF cars, but Ty never let up. He drove hard all night, made several clean passes, and earned every position he could on his way to crossing the finish line in 10th.

Every night at the racetrack is a chance to learn, improve, and get one step closer to where we want to be. We appreciate everyone who supports 223 Rockin Motorsports—our family and family, especially our nephew Brayden for the help in the pits! We couldn’t do it without you.

We’ll keep working, keep learning, and be back next week ready to improve even more.🏁❤️

Welcome to 223 Rockin Motorsports!

Racing has been a part of our family for over 20+ years, and we are proud to continue carrying on a tradition that means so much to us. What started as a family passion has grown into a legacy that continues with Tylan Davis, originally from Abilene, TX, who now calls Waterloo, IA home for now. Tylan has been involved in racing on and off for over 15+ years and is now behind the wheel of the IMCA Stock Car #223.

Racing runs deep in our family, with Tylan’s uncle and brother also sharing the same love for the sport. From long nights in the shop to race day excitement, it’s about more than just the competition — it’s about family, friendships, hard work, and the memories created along the way.

We are honored to continue this family tradition while building our own chapter in racing. We look forward to sharing the journey, the challenges, the victories, and everything in between.
